"A lot of the fighting was done by 18 and 19 year old kids right out of high school, kids who had to become men almost overnight.
They were gathered from all over the United States and given a gigantic job to do. With lots of love for the country and fellow man, lots of determination, lots of sweat, blood, and tears; with excellent leadership, and last but not least, a tremendous amount of help from God, they were able to get the job done."
